What can you expect at a Bournemouth Blues Retreat?

An intimate, sociable and relaxed weekend that offers an opportunity to really get to know your fellow dancers.  It is the opportunity to create meaningful, lasting friendships built on a love of BluesFusion dancing.

The Hotel Collingwood lends itself perfectly to this event – and from the very first moment has us all feeling that we are very much at home!

This boutique hotel is only a 3-minute walk from the beach and has a fantastic basement ballroom!  There is also a small indoor pool, a hot tub, a steam room, a sauna and a fitness centre.  And as a special treat for our Blues Retreaters, there is now a 25% discount offered on all treatments that you might choose to take as part of your stay.

The hotel is on 3 floors, and has a lovely bar and restaurant. There is also on-site parking which the hotel will be offering us for free (rather than the £10 a night usual charge)

Obviously there are a limited number of rooms, with only a very small number of singles, which have already been taken, so bookings will be on a shared basis.  There are twins, doubles and family rooms and we can assist with allocating you a lovely (same gender) room-share buddy.  Most rooms are upgraded signature rooms and there is an extra surcharge for these.

There will be a beach photoshoot – and our theme for this will be announced nearer the time.

There will be daytime workshops for those who want them – and much to see and do in Bournemouth for those who prefer to get out and about.
