There are those who believe that being an advanced level dancer means knowing lots of flash moves and complicated routines…

And then there are those who know that connection and those skilful exchanges between partners… musicality and being able to adapt timing, tempo, drama and subtlety…

And skilful, solid, confident technique…

In Modern Blues – these are the things that matter.

Judges will expect to see:
A strong musical connection to include breaks, musical phrasing, connection to the lyrical phrasing etc, alongside the 'extra' opportunities that the music offers.
Dancers will show confidence in a variety of holds (and transitions in and out of holds) to include close, intimate and reverse hold.
And dancers will effectively demonstrate how dancing in hold differentiates Modern BluesFusion from other styles of dance (e.g. SILC, WCS, MJ etc)

Open to All except those who have entered The Blues Inclusive on this occasion.
